Jooniverse

Born in the Philippines on June 22, 1989, Joonmarie Roca-Brush has literally seen both sides of the world. Currently majoring in Communications Technology at York College, Roca-Brush wishes to pursue a career in the world of multimedia production where she can apply her creativity in storytelling–whether in writing or film.

“Although I wouldn’t mind being in the spotlight, the people who are behind-the-scenes are the ones truly responsible for the magic of both cinema and theater.

Directors, producers and the highly motivated production crews, create the subtle  and dramatic mise en scene in which I want to be a part of.

Light, sound, movement…. greatly affects the cinematic adventure, that I wish I could do it all! I have such respect for original storytelling in film and documentary. ” -J.R.

Roca-Brush married her loving husband Travis Brush on April 13, 2009, and lives with obese guinea pigs named Reeses and Butterscotch at Long Island New York.
